My name is Michaela Hruskova and I am a PhD researcher in Management in the triple accredited Adam Smith Business School at the University of Glasgow with a keen interest in entrepreneurial ecosystems, entrepreneurship, and business in general. Besides my academic studies, I also teach employability skills to students in the College of Social Sciences at the University through the Graduate Skills Programme, and I am a Graduate Teaching Assistant for several entrepreneurship courses in the Adam Smith Business School both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I also manage the College of Social Sciences Employability Team who delivers a wide range of employability provision to social sciences students. Additionally, I am the Director of a Startup Grind chapter at the University of Glasgow.
I also have professional experience through my placements at Entrepreneurial Scotland & The Saltire Foundation, the Scottish Institute for Enterprise, Scottish Enterprise/Scottish Development International, 4J Studios, and Grant Management Services. Through these extensive experiences I have developed a broad skill set, which includes excellent communication, facilitation, team work, organisational, and time management skills.
